Adopted October 27, 2014

Vision: The Puget Sound Conservation Districts Caucus envisions a future in which private land managers and local residents are actively engaged in solutions: building community, fostering stewardship, and playing an essential role in restoring and maintaining a healthy and productive Puget Sound and Salish Sea.

Mission: The mission of the Puget Sound Conservation Districts Caucus (PSCDC) is to support and strengthen the 12 Puget Sound Conservation Districts and partners to foster community and individual stewardship to restore, enhance and maintain the natural resources of Puget Sound – such as working lands, soil, water, marine and fresh water habitat – with a non-regulatory, incentive-based approach, supporting our economy.

Values:

  • Implementation-oriented
  • Non-regulatory and science-based
  • Locally led with regional impact
  • Independent yet synergistic
  • Sustainable, measurable conservation outcomes
  • Relationships with land managers
